About PVMS
The Purcellville Main Street Program is a nonprofit organization established in 2025 as part of the Virginia Main Street (VMS) initiative, which is administered by the Virginia Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD). This program is dedicated to revitalizing and preserving the historic downtown of Purcellville, Virginia, by fostering economic development, enhancing public spaces, and celebrating the town's unique character.

The mission of the Purcellville Main Street Program is to honor the town's rich history while building a vibrant future. By leveraging the Main Street Approach—a comprehensive strategy focusing on organization, design, economic vitality, and promotion—the program aims to:
